It’s not hard to find a good party dip these days. Spicy, cheesy and loads of it will cheer up just about any famished crowd. This one has the bonus of being easy, flavorful and super versatile! It’s great spread on warm pita bread, served with cut veggies or smeared your favorite sandwich.
Yeah, it’s kind of ugly and lumpy. But, with flavor like this, it really doesn’t matter! Make and store the dip in the fridge for a party ready snack.

Ingredients
- 3 medium jalapeños
- 1 medium shallot, cut into wedges
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse Kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cracked pepper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400°F. Brush the jalapeños, shallot and garlic with the oil. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, until well browned.
- Discard stems and seeds from jalapeños. Use a pairing knife to remove the skin from jalapeños and finely chop the jalapeño, shallots and garlic.
- In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients.
