This quick and Easy Shrimp Boil is a flavorful one-pot meal fit for a crowd! It’s packed with potatoes, corn, shrimp and sausage.
Call ALL your friends and tell them bring over some beer. We’re having a shrimp boil y’all! It’s one of the easiest ways to serve a crowd and yeah, it’s pretty fun to eat too! The trick to a shrimp boil is to add in all the ingredients at the right time to layer the flavor and cook everything to perfection.
The boil starts with the aromatics for some serious flavor with the onion, lemon, thyme, garlic and old bay seasoning. Once everything’s good and flavored, then the rest of the ingredients go in one by one to cook in sequence. No need to heat up the house on an already hot summer evening. I used an outdoor propane burner topped with a giant stock pot and it worked great!
Added one by one, everything cooks perfectly! Skip the plates and silverware, but be sure to grab some napkins. Lay some newspaper or butcher paper on the picnic table and get your shrimp on!
Melted butter with a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce is all the condiment you need for this flavorful dish. Serve it up with a generous pour of your favorite local brew. #SummerLove
