You guys, it’s confession time. I’m a serious night owl! I tend to stay up way too late and totally regret it when my alarm goes off (for the third time!) every morning. But, a great cup of coffee is usually all I need to make my sleep deprived mornings more manageable and more enjoyable.
When it comes to coffee though, I’m a pretty plain Jane. A giant mug of black coffee or an ice filled glass of cold brew and I’m good to go! With such a simple cup, it really has to be good quality coffee with a great flavor.

To make your mornings even easier and more enjoyable, I’ve created a delicious all-in-one breakfast smoothie that will get you caffeinated, keep you full and get you out the door in no time flat.
This Cold Brew Banana Oatmeal Smoothie starts with some Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew (of course!) and a hearty splash of milk. I love using almond milk but feel free to use your favorite type of milk. Add a handful of oats to keep you full all morning long and a frozen banana to make the smoothie creamy and ever so slightly sweet. I’ve added in a scoop of almond butter for a nutty flavor and protein boost but peanut butter would be great too! It’s all topped off with a sprinkling of chocolate for good measure!
Blend it all up and you’ve got a bit of caffeine, protein, fruit and oats all in one cup that is sure to make your mornings way more fun and productive! Yes, even for all my fellow night owls! It also makes for a great afternoon pick-me-up!
To make the Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew, it’s just a few super simple steps! Place the coffee filter packs in a pitcher, add some water and let it steep in your fridge overnight. Yes, you are brewing coffee while you sleep! Then in the morning, remove the coffee filters, add some more water and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened milk (almond, soy or dairy)
- 1/2 cup prepared Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew Coffee
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
- 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
- 1 tablespoon shaved dark chocolate
- Shaved chocolate for garnish, if desired
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with additional shaved chocolate, if desired.
Notes
Add an ice cube or two to thicken the smoothie if needed.
