With Halloween and a crazy work schedule last week, I’ve been guilty of indulging in a few too many treats, cocktails and unhealthy foods. But, I’ve got just the thing to get back on track; juice packed with lots of fresh fruit and veggies!
I purchased a slow juicer about a year ago and absolutely love it!I juice everything from beets and parsnips, to greens and pears, but this orange juice recipe has become one of my absolute favorites!
The oranges give the drink a citrusy sweetness, the sweet potato gives it a smooth texture and the mint makes it all refreshing and delicious. To mix it up, you can add in fresh pineapple or mango for a more tropical flavor, or a bit of fresh ginger for some spice. It’s the perfect breakfast, afternoon pick-me-up or post-workout refresher.
