A delicious holiday recipe for Bourbon Milk Punch made with bourbon whiskey, half-and-half, honey syrup and nutmeg.

Vanilla Honey Syrup
1 vanilla bean
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
Bourbon Milk Punch
4 ounces half-and-half or whole milk
2 ounces bourbon
1/2 ounce vanilla honey syrup
Fresh Nutmeg, for garnish
Instructions
Split vanilla bean lengthwise into halves. Scrape out seeds with tip of small knife. Set aside.
To make Vanilla Honey Syrup, in 1-quart saucepan, mix honey, water, vanilla seeds and bean. Heat about 2 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until honey is dissolved. Remove from heat; set aside 1 hour to cool. Discard vanilla bean. Pour syrup into glass jar. Cover jar; refrigerate until needed. Makes about 1 cup.
Add half-and-half, bourbon and vanilla honey syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake until cold and frothy. Pour into a glass filled with ice. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.
