Slightly sweet, comforting and totally delicious this easy Bourbon and Honey Apple Crisp is the perfect cold weather dessert!

4 medium baking apples peeled and chopped (about 4 cups)
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups quick cooking or old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of fine sea salt
Vanilla ice cream and additional honey for serving
Instructions
Heat oven to 375ºF. Grease the bottom and sides of a 2-quart baking dish. In medium bowl, toss the apples, honey, bourbon and lemon juice. Spread the apples in the baking dish. In medium bowl, stir oats, pecans, melted butter, cinnamon and salt until well mixed; sprinkle over apples.
Bake about 25 to 35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork. Serve warm with ice cream and a drizzle of honey.
