I’ve been looking for a new twist on my morning green smoothie routine. Kale is getting a little boring. So, with the caffeine punch from the Matcha powder, this one can be a stand in for both your morning cuppa and your leafy green packed smoothie. It’s creamy, smooth, slightly sweet and the perfect boost to get you up and running in the morning.
With just 4 ingredients, this might be one of the easiest breakfast smoothies around. The banana not only sweetens the drink, but also gives it an ice cold and smooth consistency. Keep a stash of peeled, frozen bananas in the freezer for chilly smoothies at a moments notice without having to add ice.
I love the taste of coconut milk with matcha, but almond or rice milk would both be tasty too.
