Yep, it’s still Bourbon and Honey month (woohoo!) and I’ve got yet another over-the-top recipe for you packed with bourbon, and of course, honey!
This is a twist on the traditional sazerac cocktail, one of my very favorite cocktails. That lame sugar cube? I’ve ditched it for a bit of honey! And that rye whiskey? It’s been upgraded to bourbon!
This cocktail is flavored with a bit of absinthe, an anise-flavored liquor with a bit of a dramatic history. It’s really not that scary though, just highly flavored and super boozy. If you’re on the hunt for a bottle, you can pick it up at most well stocked liquor stores.
