Speaking of awesome, these burgers are super flavorful and delicious! They’re made with a mixture of ground lamb and pork for the perfect amount of fat and flavor.
The burgers are topped with a creamy tzatziki sauce so you can skip the traditional ketchup and mustard. Move over boring burgers, there’s a new kid in town!

Ingredients
- Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Lamb Burgers
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 medium shallot, finely chopped
- 20 ounces ground lamb
- 4 ounces ground pork
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh mint
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh oregano
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Baby spinach
- Chopped Kalamata olives
- 6 burger buns, split, toasted
Instructions
- In a small bowl, stir together all sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- In a medium skillet, heat 2 teaspoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shallots and cook 6 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently or until browned. Set aside.
- In a large bowl stir together ground lamb, ground pork, 1/2 cup of the feta, mustard, mint, oregano, garlic, green onions, salt and pepper until well blended. Form into six patties, about 3/4-inch thick; set aside.
- Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium heat. Place patties on grill; cover grill. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup feta, arugula and olives. Serve burgers with tzatziki sauce and spinach mixture.
