It may be a Monday, but the holidays are about overindulging right? Well, that’s my motto! (Yep, I’ll be kicking myself in January when I’m living on the treadmill!) So, let’s make another drink…
This one is a twist on a traditional mimosa and perfect for brunch. I’ve used freshly squeezed grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. Then a splash of elderflower liqueur helps to balance the grapefruit bite. The sage is thrown in for a fun savory touch and pairs really well with the floral flavors of the elderflower.
Mimosas are a great way to bring your brunch to the next level. It’s not a party without some bubbles, right? Skip the expensive Champagne though and go with Prosecco for this one. It’s less expensive but still full of sparkle.

This cocktail is dedicated to my awesome aunt in the Pacific Northwest who keeps my kitchen stocked with boxes of fresh fruit all winter long. Thanks Janice!
Such a fun idea, this pretty and pink grapefruit Mimosa looks so fresh in the stemless glass. It’s perfect for holiday brunches but will perfect for spring brunches too when I’ll substitute the sage with mint leaves.
Thanks Andi! The mint is a fabulous idea and would be great for warmer weather parties!
I cannot think of a better or more refreshing cocktail to make for the hot australian summer than this mimosa. It looks so good!
