I’ve never really liked tequila, or margaritas for that matter until recently. The neon colored, super sweet or overly bitter margarita mixes were just not appealing to me. But, a fresh squeezed lime, high quality tequila, orange liqueur and a touch of sweetness; I can get behind that!
This is a classic version of the Margarita cocktail representing Mexico and going head-to-head with the Caipirinha Cocktail from Brazil in the Cocktail Match Up.
It has a bright citrus flavor and is easy to drink and enjoy.
Cheers!
