This Cherry Bourbon Slush is a frosty sipper is a cheery blend of fresh cherry juice and bourbon whiskey frozen into a slush with a splash of ginger ale.
For the holiday’s we often make some version of a brandy slush to share with the family. It’s a frozen boozy concoction that makes the holiday’s jolly. We would stuff it in the freezer and always have it on hand for drop in holiday guests. With these hot summer days, I’ve been craving a more seasonal version of this frosty drink. So, the Cherry Bourbon Slush was created.
It’s simply fresh, plump cherries and lots of bourbon frozen into a slushy mixture that’s cold, refreshing and perfect on a warm late-summer evening. I think of it as an adult version of this Mixed Berry Granita recipe. Garnish it with a cherry or mint leaves and serve it to anyone and everyone that comes to the house. You’ll make lots of friends!
